Digital medicine follow-up that makes a difference in everyday life

A new patient survey from Region Blekinge shows very positive experiences with digital medicine follow-up supported by Amni Care. Here you can read what patients themselves highlight and how Amni can contribute to a better patient experience.

You can usually tell whether a solution works by asking the people who use it. In the latest patient survey from Region Blekinge, 92.4% said that Amni is easy to use. Overall satisfaction was 87.8%, with many patients describing digital medicine follow-up as straightforward, reassuring and easy to fit around everyday life.

The survey was completed by 92 out of 125 patients, giving a response rate of 73.6%.

Patients see the value of Amni

Patients’ own words say a great deal about the difference digital medicine follow-up through Amni can make:

A tip-top, top, top service.”

“It reduces my stress levels. Thank you for a great service.”

“I already think it works well. Incredibly smooth!”

“A really good service, with better continuity.

A solution that fits life

89.1% of patients state that Amni makes it easier to stay on top of their treatment and have prescriptions renewed. 83.7% also said it had been easy to get in touch with the clinic through the digital service.

The numbers are encouraging, but patients’ own comments show more clearly what that means in practice. For many, it is about not having to take time off work, arrange additional appointments or try to get through to the clinic during limited telephone hours.

Not having to book a face-to-face appointment means I avoid the stress of taking time off work and the stress of planning an in-person visit. That stress can make me put appointments off until the last minute.”

“I live in another town, so it’s incredibly convenient only having to come in for my annual follow-up.”

“I think it’s a practical and more affordable option. It can be difficult to get to the CS clinic when working full-time.

This is about more than convenience. It is about making follow-up possible when work, travel and day-to-day responsibilities also need to be managed.

More reassuring follow-up, on the patient’s terms

For some patients, reassurance is the biggest benefit. Being able to complete parts of their follow-up at home, in a calm and familiar environment, can lower the barrier and make it easier to continue with treatment.

I’m always nervous when I have to go to the clinic for a blood pressure check, so being able to do it from home in my own safe environment is a huge help.

Easier communication through secure messaging

Several patients also highlighted the value of being able to deal with simple queries digitally, without having to phone or work around the clinic’s opening hours.

It’s really convenient to be able to send a message to the nurse about simple things instead of having to phone or travel to the clinic. I don’t need to keep track of opening hours or telephone hours, which can otherwise be difficult.

Saves time

Digital medicine follow-up through Amni makes a real difference in everyday life. For patients, it makes it easier to stay on track with treatment, feel reassured and fit follow-up around everything else life demands. For clinics, it creates better conditions to provide support at the right time and use valuable time where it has the greatest impact. One patient summarise it:

It saves time.

It is inspiring to see how Region Blekinge, with support from Amni, is making a real difference for its patients. Thank you for allowing us to be part of that journey.
