Introducing Amni!

Blåappen was launched in 2016 as a research tool within psychiatry in Region Skåne. The name, inspired by the expression “feeling blue”, reflected its original purpose: to provide digital support for children transitioning back home after inpatient care. Over the years, Blåappen has evolved into a versatile clinical tool used across many areas of healthcare – far more comprehensive than the name suggested.

Pulstavlan has during the same period become a trusted part of everyday healthcare practice, appreciated for its clarity and ability to promote a shared overview. But with a generic name that is also used internationally, the need for a stronger, brand-protected identity has become clear.

We are now bringing these two products together under one name – Amni. This change makes their connection visible, strengthens our identity, and lays the foundation for continued growth.

The names may be changing, but we remain the same Swedish organization – with the same dedication, care, and quality as always.

During a transition period, the names will appear side by side: Amni Care (formerly Blåappen) and Amni Board (formerly Pulstavlan). We aim to complete the transition and only use Amni by spring 2026.

We are proud to take this step forward and look forward to continuing the journey together with you – now under the name Amni.
