Camilla Andersson, unit manager at Orthopedics 11 in Lund, has been using Pulstavlan since the summer of 2018, where it was introduced as a pilot project in five departments within Skåne University Hospital (SUS). The pilot was very successful and during the spring of 2019, Pulstavlan was implemented in most of the hospital's wards.

Pulstavlan is based on national standards for both user and unit structures (HSA) and authentication with SITHS and BankID.
All communication is encrypted, both to users and between machines.
